MOTD - Double Turquoise Glitter Liner

So i've been a little obsessed with glitter make up looks lately so i've been going a little glitter shopping crazy because I just want every shade you know? I purchased some new ones from an online boutique shop (loveandgraceboutique on Instagram) and I'm absolutely luuuuurving them. They stock some stunning colours and as soon as they arrived I was dying to try out the turquoise shade so I decided to create this double liner look using the glitter and I seriously just wanted to keep this look on permanently.

For my eyebrows I used my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in the shade Medium Brown and this is my go-to eyebrow product, I'm almost out of this but it has lasted me well over a year so it's definitely worth the money! If you haven't yet tried this product I strooooongly recommend it. I used the dip brow on the arch of my brow and the centre but I then take my Benefit Precisely My Brow in Shade Five to lightly stroke in the front of the brow upwards.

I next used my MAC Pro Longer Concealer to carve my brows out and then used this as my base all over my lid to prep for eyeshadow. I always set my base using my RCMA No Colour Powder.

For this look I used my Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette because this has all the neutral shades I used on a daily basis. The only thing I did for my lids was put Burnt Orange through my crease to add some depth, If I'm not wearing much eyeshadow I always like to run a neutral, warm shade through my crease. I then took Vermeer to highlight my brow bone and my inner corner. I used the same Burnt Orange shade on a fluffy brush on my lower lash line but I then used Cyprus Umber on a more precise brush to blend close to the lower lash line to smoke it out a little more. I finished by using a brown pencil liner in my water line.

For the eyeliner I started by doing a black winged liner using my Zoeva Wing Liner Brush and my Maybelline Gel Liner but I then used my Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner to make it more black as I had purchased the wrong shade in my gel liner. I also find it easier to use the pen liner on the inner part of my lid. Once I had my black wing done I took the NYX Glam Liner in Nude to do a second wing on top as I wanted a guide on wear to put the glitter. I then took my NYX glitter glue on my Zoeva Fine Liner Brush and placed the glue along the second liner I had created, I found this brush was so good for this as it was so fine so it was very easy to be precise with the glue placement. I next took the Turquoise Glitter on the same brush and placed it on the top of the glue. I built it up until I was happy with how the glitter looked. I went over my black liner again with the Stila Liner covering up any glitter that had fallen and I just spent a little bit of time going back and forth to clean it up. I finished by taking my Glitter Liner by Kiko and just went over the glitter with this to ensure it all dried down to make sure the glitter stayed in place. I absolutely loved this shade of glitter and I already cant wait to use it again!

I finished the eyes by using my Maybelline Lash Sensation Mascara on my top and bottom lashes and then added my Huda Beauty Farah Lashes. These lashes are my new fave (again) - I always have a new fave pair of lashes but these ones are so full and wispy and the perfect length that I love.

Moving onto face I first moisturised using my Origins Ginzing Moisturiser which is my every day moisturiser, I love the formula of this as it is like a water/gel consistency which I love for my skin as I have dry skin so I find this product super hydrated and the perfect prep for make up.

For primer I used my all time favourite primer the Too Faced Hangover Primer. I very rarely find myself using any other primer now as this is an absolute staple for me. When I find a product that works for me I stick to them especially with base products as I know they won't let me down. This primer is super hydrating and because I have dry skin I think this is why I love it so much. Whenever I apply this primer my foundation goes on so smoothly and blends out perfectly.

The foundation I used is my Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation. This is my all time favourite drugstore foundation that I've tried to date. I sometimes like a light foundation on my skin but this product still gives me a good amount of coverage and I love the satin finish of this for my skin type. My favourite way to apply any foundation is to use a rounded, kabuki brush (Real Techniques Buffing Brush) to blend out the foundation evenly on my face and neck and then I will use a damp beauty blender and dab this over my foundation to pick up any excess product and ensure the base is completely smooth.

For concealer I used my two holy grail concealers; Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I love both of these concealers separately but together is the perfect combination for me. With the maybelline one I love how hydrating the formula is and that it always blends out so effortlessly whilst brightening as well. The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer gives such a nice coverage and I have the shade Vanilla and it is super good at brightening.

Once I had my base on I used my Iconic London Illuminating Drops in the shade Shine. I literally only just purchased these a couple of weeks ago and I haven't stopped using them since. They are SO intense which I love because I do love a strong highlight! I apply these with my finger and my Beauty Blender on the tops of my cheeks, down my nose and above my eyebrows and honestly you really do only need the tiniest bit as a little goes a long way with this product.

I then set my under eye area with my RCMA No Colour Powder and I set the rest of my base with my MAC mineralise skin finish powder in Medium and I just hit pan on this! This is my all time favourite setting powder, its so light but still sets your base so well and doesn't appear cakey on my dry skin.

For bronzer I used my trusty Benefit Hoola Bronzer which gives me the perfect amount of bronzer and always blends out easily. For highlighter I used my new Kylie Cosmetics Kylighter in the shade French Vanilla and I really like this product however I did use it on top of my Iconic London drops so they play a massive part in how intense the highlighter is but from swatches of the kylighter it looks gorgeous.

Finally for lipstick I used one of the new Nude Liquid Lipsticks from Kylie Cosmetics holiday collection and I used the shade Birthday Suit and this shade did not let me down and the formula for me again was perfect and super long lasting.

I hope you love this look and definitely check out if you're on the hunt for affordable new glitters as they stock some gorggggg shades. You can also use the code IMOGEN10 for some money off as well as the rest of the items on the site. The code expires on the 31st July if you fancy picking anything up!

Youtubers/Bloggers Made Me Buy It

So when make up is your passion and you see beauty bloggers/youtubers raving about products its only natural that you're intrigued to try them. I've made a good amount of purchases based on recommendations in the past and this can be a little dangerous when you're addicted to buying make up and trying out new products however I've loved so many of them so I thought I would share with you a few things that I either loved or didn't work so well for me.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

It was Youtubers and Bloggers that first introduced me to the brand Too Faced and obviously the first product I purchased from them was the famous Chocolate Bar Palette. I frickin love this palette and I think its mainly for the quality of their shadows, they blend so effortlessly and never lack pigmentation. I reach for this palette regularly for everyday looks using the neutral shades however I do love Cherry Cordial (a deep cranberry) and Gilded Ganache (a deep olive green) for darker looks. My everyday look with this palette would be Salted Caramel through the crease along with Milk Chocolate and Semi Sweet to deepen and define the outer V and crease and then finishing with Marzipan all over the lid. Marzipan is hands down my favourite shade in the palette, its so gorgeous all over the lid and really pops which I looove. Oh and Champagne Truffle is a gorgeeeous highlight shade! I can't recommend this palette enough, I get so much use out of it and its for sure up there with my all time favourite palettes.

Morphe 350 Palette

I think its safe to say that this palette has been pretty popular among beauty gurus online and when I first started seeing this in make up tutorials I was convinced straight away that I needed it. I waited for what seemed like forever for this to come back in stock on Cult Beauty and when it finally did at the end of last year it was literally like all my dreams had come true... its crazy how happy an eyeshadow palette could make me... if you love make up and beauty i'm sure you feel me on this one! I mean its not like I don't have enough eyeshadow palettes but this one was extra special right?! haha. Honestly though for the price of £23.50 the quality is amaaaaazing. These eyeshadows have always been super pigmented and blended so nicely. If you're a warm eyeshadows type of girl this is your palette - the shades are a dreaaam and not only that there is also such a great amount of choice so you'll never be stuck for looks to create.

RCMA No Colour Powder

This is a new one to my collection but currently a strong favourite. I've seen so many people raving about this product for so long so when it came back in stock on Beauty Bay I couldn't not purchase it. I have used the Laura Mercier powder for the longest time but when I saw people were actually preferring a much more affordable product I needed to see if I could love this and save myself some pennies in the future. I have used this every single time I've done my make up since receiving this and it is honestly perfect. It does just what I need it to do and sets my make up in place without becoming cakey and adds absolutely no colour. This is just £12 which is amazing and you get so much product whereas the Laura Mercier one is £29 so you're definitely saving a good amount of money. If you're on the hunt for a good setting powder that will set your make up without adding any colour at all I can 100% recommend trying this.

Make Up Forever Ultra HD Stick Foundation

I saw this foundation absolutely everywhere on Youtube so of course I was curious to see what the all the hype was about. Youtuber's that I watch religiously with the same skin type as me were using this and I loved the way it made their skin look every time so I needed to try it. I don't tend to order foundations online because its almost guaranteed i'll get the wrong shade so I managed to get colour matched at the counter in Lakeside and as soon as the make up artist even tried it on me I had a feeling I was going to love this. She explained that it was a very dewy finish and I was even more sold as I have normal to dry skin and don't really like to go for matte foundations - I need as much glow as I can get! Since purchasing this it's now my go-to foundation and I always make sure I have a back up because I couldn't imagine not having this. It has such a flawless finish and is very, very dewy which is perfect for my skin type. The is definitely one of my favourite purchases I've made because of youtubers and bloggers.

Nyx Buttergloss

NYX was another brand I was introduced to through social media and this brand makes such high quality products for a really good price. I was so gutted when I found out there was no NYX counters near me so you can only imagine how excited I was when I went up to Leicester for the weekend to stumble across a counter! Lets just say I went a little NYX haul crazy. I'm a lipgloss looover so the first thing I went straight over to was the Butterglosses, I had seen these everywhere online with some of my all time fave youtubers using them in tutorials so obviously always trusting their opinions I had to purchase some and for the affordable price tag I was more than willing to try these out. I have never been disappointed with these, they glide on the lips effortlessly and are super comfortable to wear. I find I do have to reapply throughout the day which i'm completely okay with as when eating your lip colour will fade. My favourite shades are Creme Brûlée and Fortune Cookie being the nude lip obsessed girl I am.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit - That Glow

Anastasia Beverly Hills glow kits quickly became super popular and as soon as I saw them I knew I needed to try them. I absolutely love highlighters and its probably my favourite part of my make up routine so I always want to try out new ones. When this first arrived I was so impressed with the size of the palette.. they are honestly huge which is perfect as you are definitely getting a good amount of product for the price. These highlighters glide onto the skin so smoothly but are super pigmented giving you that glow we all desire. I nearly always use a mixture of Sunburst with either Dripping In Gold or Bubbly for my highlight. I use the Golden Bronze shade with my bronzer to add a glowing warmth for days when I want a more glowing bronzer over matte. I love the Golden Bronze shade for summer.

Make Up Revolution Lip Kits

When I first saw these lip kits around on youtube and blogs I was super excited as at this point I hadn't yet tried the Kylie Cosmetic Lip Kits but had always wanted to. I purchased quite a few shades as I loved Make Up Revolution so I had really high hopes for them and absolutely loved the range of shades they had brought out. The lip liners are amazing, they are so creamy and glide onto the lips without dragging them harshly. Unfortunately however I was not a fan of the liquid lipsticks. The shades I purchased were absolutely gorgeous and I especially loved the nudes however the formula I found was far too sticky and didn't dry down completely matte. I found that because of their formula they were super uncomfortable on the lips, which was extremely disappointing as I really wanted to love them.

Have you purchased anything based on Youtuber's/Bloggers reviews?

Make Up Geek Collection

So last year I was introduced to Make Up Geek through some of my favourite Youtubers/Bloggers I follow and I completely get why this brand is super popular. After watching several tutorials using these shadows I was instantly like I really need to try these out cause for the price they looked amaaaaazing and to alllllllll us beauty obsessed gals our wishes came true when Beauty Bay started stocking this brand! I went a bit overboard with my first ever order because to be honest I was ridiculously excited and I just wanted to try them all. Over the last year I have built up my collection that I'm super happy with but there is constantly new shades I want to try.... make up wish lists just never end right?

Make Up Geek shadows are so impressive. The quality of them is no different to high end and I actually prefer them to several high end shadows I've tried.  The shade range is incredible so it really caters for everyone depending on what shades you personally prefer. Nearly all of them blend out beautifully with no struggling and out of the ones I've tried nearly all of them have been super pigmented. These currently retail at £6 on Beauty Bay.

Foiled - I just love the formula of their foiled eyeshadows. They are so pigmented and appear so vivid on the eyes. Even though they are foiled and appear more shimmery they are still super creamy and buttery. I definitely need to purchase more as I always use these if I know I want really intense pigment on the eyes and their foiled formula never disappoints. These currently retail at £9.25 on Beauty Bay.

Row 1

Peach Smoothie - Soft peach matte - I don't use this too often as it doesn't show too pigmented on me but when I do I just use this through the crease as a initial transition shade or to add a subtle amount of peach.

Beaches and Cream - Soft peachy, beige matte - This is very similar to Peach Smoothie therefore I use this similarly to build up transition shades with a warm eyeshadow look.

Creme Brûlée -  Soft warm, sand matte - This is my absolute go-to transition shade, it works so well for nearly every eyeshadow look I do.

Bake Sale - Soft brown - I use this shade as a transition shade and on the outer V before going in with a deeper shade.

Latte - Medium, brown matte - I use this to deepen up the crease and add definition to my outer V.

Barcelona Beach -  Cool toned pale, bown matte - I use this as a transition shade if I do a cool toned look and it works perfectly.

Homecoming - Brown/gold shimmer - I tend to use this shade a lot for day time looks for a subtle shimmer on the lid blended with a soft brown in the crease.

Row 2

Pocket Change - Soft bronze shimmer - If I'm honest I haven't picked up this shade yet which is a slight reminder that I need to try it out! I'm loving bronzes and golds on the eyes at the moment with coral lipsticks for spring/coming into summer so ill definitely pick this up soon.

Goddess - Soft copper shimmer - This shade is stunning all over the lid in a warm toned look.

Cabin Fever - Warm red toned matte brown - A gorgeous warm shade that I often use to deepen and define my outer V.

Coco Bear - Very warm matte brown with red undertones - This is one of my top 5 from Make Up Geek as its the most perfect brown for warm looks especially deepening the crease and outer V.

Early Bird - Warm orange matte with yellow undertones (darker version of Chickadee) - Along with orange tones on my eyes I pick this up to use in the crease along with Chickadee.

Chickadee - Pale orange matte with yellow undertones - Another firm favourite, I always use this when using orange tones on my eyes as a transition shade.

Side Kick - Warm red, cinnamon matte brown - I absolutely love this shade, I often use it through the crease and on the outer V along with Cocoa Bear.

Row 3

Shimma Shimma - Light champagne shimmer - The perfect inner corner and brown bone highlight - I pick this up nearly every day.

White Lies - Pure white matte - I don't tend to reach for this for an all over white unless I use concealer as a base as I don't find it comes up to pigmented on me but I do use this for highlighting the inner corner.

Ice Queen - Pure white shimmer - Similarly to White Lies I don't tend to use this as an all over lid shade but use it often to highlight my inner corner when I want a bright white highlight.

In The Spotlight - Soft champagne, pink foiled - This is gorgeous for the inner part of your eye and as a lid shade.

Legend - Bronze foiled - This is another shade that I haven't used to often which is now another reminder I need to try this out more! I think its because I nearly always pick up Flamethrower as I just love oranges on my eyes but this shade is gorgeous so I must use it more!

Flamethrower - Bold orange/copper foiled - My all time favourite Make Up Geek Shadow. Its honestly the most stunning shade and I love it all over the lid to make my brown eyes pop.

Morocco - Bright orange matte - I absolutely love orange tones on my brown eyes so this is regularly picked up for the crease or all over the lid with their foiled shadow Flamethrower.

Row 4

Cosmopolitan - Rose gold shimmer - This shade is stunning and if you love rose gold this is for you! I use this as an all over lid shade - its beautttttiful!

Cherry Cola - Deep red, brown matte - I use this shade for deepening up warm toned looks but also all over the lid for dark purple/cranberry looks.

Bitten -  Deep matte burgandy - Perfect for cranberries/burgandys on the eyes or deepening up warm looks.

Burlesque - Deep warm, burgundy shimmer - I use this all over the lid usually when doing cranberry/burgandy eyes. This shade, Bitten and Cherry Cola are all extremely similar.

Row 5

Mocha - Deep brown matte - I love using this shade in cool toned looks to help deepen before sometimes adding black.

Badabing - Matte deep brown with flecks of gold - This shade is stunning but when applied the flecks of gold don't show too much.

Take Two - Olive Green Foiled - Such a stunning olive green. Im a sucker for olive green shades so when I saw one from one of my favourite brands I had to get it. This shade has never disappointed for an olive green eye look.

Envy -  Deep green shimmer - An absolutely gorgeous green! Perfect for a green smokey eye.

Corrupt - Pure black matte with subtle flecks of glitter - A seriously good black to have in your collection, super pigmented and very black!

Manny MUA palette

T-B, L-R - Atemis, Beaches & Cream, Luna, Cosmopolitan, Brick, Frappe, Insomnia, Mars, Aphrodite

Manny is one of my favourite Youtubers, I absolutely love him as he is super talented and so funny to watch. When I first saw his video swatching his palette in collaboration with Make Up Geek I fell in love. Admittedly I already had a couple of shades from this but the other shades in the palette completely sold it to me and I had to get it. None of the shades in this palette have disappointed me and I'm honestly so happy I got hold of this as I pick it up so so often. I'm sat here trying to narrow down my favourite shades from the palette and I just cant as I love every single one for a different reason. I love this palette as it holds shades that I don't own similar ones to in my collection.

Artemis - Pearl/champagne shimmer - Oh my god this shade.. literally the best highlight shade for inner corner and brow bone - its stunning, so pigmented and truly makes your eyes pop like crazzzy.

Beaches and Cream - (Previously mentioned above)

Luna - Rose gold foiled finish - This shade is absolutely beautiful for all over the lid. I honestly reach for this so so much with the warm shades through my crease and aphrodite on the outer V.

Cosmopolitan - (Previously mentioned above)

Sora - Medium brick shade matte with flecks of sparkle - Perfect to warm up the crease and as a transition shade.

Frappe - Medium matte brown  - I often use this to deepen up the crease and the outer V before going in with a darker shade.

Insomnia - Reddish brown with blue reflects, foiled & duo chrome finish - This shade is so unique, I don't have a similar shadow in my collection. Its absolutely gorgeous on the lid.

Mars - Matte red - Again I don't own a similar shade to Mars so its great to have in my collection. Its such a lush red and really compliments insomnia in an eye look.

Aphrodite - Deep Plum - I use this shade mainly to deepen my outer V in looks and it always blends beautifully and adds the perfect amount of definition.

I was dying to try some blushes from this brand and I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to chooses the shades I wanted to purchase but when they arrived i'm so glad I did as I love these so much. These didn't disappoint me at all just like their eyeshadows. They are all super pigmented, easy to use and blend out beautifully into the skin. These currently retail at £9.25 on Beauty Bay.

Romance - Peach with gold shimmer - I use this shade often when I want a shimmery pop of blush. This shade is absolutely gorgeous and reminds me very much of a peachier version of NARS Orgasm.

Love Letter - Mauve - I'm a sucker for mauve shades so of course I pick this up, I love this shade when I don't want my blush to be to bright.

Spellbound - Salmon pink - I pick this one up for that perfect pop of pink.

So this is my whole Make Up Geek collection. I love this brand so much, they do some really great quality products for reasonable prices. If you haven't yet tried anything from them I highly recommend trying them, I'm pretty confident you wont be disappointed!

Have you tried anything from Make Up Geek? What are your favourites?

My Three Current Go-To Lipsticks For Spring

Ahh finally spring is here, I can't even tell you how excited I am about lighter evenings right now! I absolutely love going from summer through to autumn and onto winter because cosy, oversized jumpers, christmas pyjamas and hot chocolates are definitely my thing however I don't know if anyone else feels this way but after a while I can't wait for the next season... roll on summer! Sun, BBQS, cocktails - sound pretty perfect right now.

So now that spring is here in terms of make up all I want to do is wear pinks, peaches and corals. I'm usually a nude gal or the complete opposite with a bold dark lip and I find it hard to ever pick up a red or a pink but right now thats all I want to wear so I thought I would show you my three current go-to spring lipsticks.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips - Kidmans Kiss

This lipstick is a gorgeous petal pink shade which I've absolutely fallen for. Sometimes I would pair this with Charlotte Tilbury's Lip Cheat in Pillowtalk for the most beautiful pinky nude lip however lately I have been wearing this on its own for a pale pop of pink. I rarely ever go for pink on my lips but i've really grown to them and this is a perfect one to start with as its not too bold but still allows you to rock that pink lip. This particular lipstick is one of their matte finishes however it is ridiculously creamy and honestly the most comfortable matte lipstick I've ever tried. They glide on the lips so effortlessly making them super easy to apply without drying them out or dragging the lips. This is definitely at the higher end of make up products retailing at £24 but so so worth it if you feel like treating yourself. The packaging is completely luxurious and dreamy with its rose gold finish - a complete seller to anyone make up and beauty obsessed.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips - Miranda May

Ok so spring has definitely made me go to my Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and this shade Miranda May is my absolute favourite. This shade is a stunning pinky coral which looks so gorgeous paired with golds and warm colours on the eyes along with bronzey, glowing make up. This one is perfect for if you want more of a pop of colour. The formula is exactly the same matte finish as Kidmans Kiss and is just as creamy and moisturising and again retails at £24 so ideal for that perfect treat.

Kylie Cosmetics Dirty Peach Lip Kit

So last month was my birthday and I was completely overwhelmed to have received a box of Kylie Cosmetics products after wanting to try them for what seemed like the longest time. I could never bring myself to order from America so you can only imagine the excitement. Straight away I wanted to try the Royal Palette and Lip Kit in Dirty Peach and I just completely fell in love with this Lip Kit. The formula of these liquid lipsticks is unreal, I find them so comfortable to wear and they didn't dry my lips out but still dry down completely matte. This particular peachy shade is lush and so so perfect for this time of year. This was my first time trying a peach coloured lipstick and now I can't stop reaching for it. I loooooove pairing this lip shade with a matching peachy eye look. This retails at $29

T-B - Kidmans Kiss, Miranda May, Dirty Peach

So these are the three lipsticks I currently find myself wearing daily which I think are perfect for spring. Next on my list is definitely a bright, orange toned red as i'm loooooving brighter lips right now!

Whats your favourite go-to lipstick for spring?

My Absolute Top 10 Make-Up Products

When applying my make-up everyday it became clear to me that I definitely had a few products that were absolute staples in my collection. I had those same products I would ALWAYS pick up and I believe this is because I know they work really well for me and wouldn't ever let me down. I have put together my top ten make-items that I really do believe are worth the money and will always continue to use daily.

Too Faced Hangover Primer

I think the main reason I love this primer is because as soon as I apply it my skin instantly feels refreshed and hydrated. Primers are an important step in your make-up routine in order for your foundation to sit well and last throughout the day so I don't mind investing in a good primer. This one has always applied smoothly and evenly and it is one of the most hydrating primers I've ever tried. I definitely notice a difference when using this primer in the finish of my foundation so I'm super super impressed. I use this primer pretty much every day and will definitely repurchase. Of course I love the packaging as well - Too Faced do the cutest packaging. If you can recommend any good drugstore primers I would definitely love to know as I'm really struggling to find one I like.

Make Up Forever Ultra HD Stick Foundation

This foundation is fairly new to my collection however I have picked it up nearly every day since I purchased it. I absolutely love the dewy finish of this foundation on the skin. I have normal to dry skin and this just works so well for my skin type. It blends out so well without ever being cakey because its a lovely thin consistency that feels so lightweight on the skin. I have used this with both a damp Beauty Blender and my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and both have worked extremely well to blend the product out evenly on my skin. I'd say this was a medium coverage foundation but always looks so flawless.

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

I can't recommend this concealer enough. If anyone ever asks me 'Whats your favourite concealer?' it will always, always be this one 100%. I prefer this over any high end concealer I have tried and I always repurchase it. It looks so flawless on the skin every time for highlighting. It blends out beautifully and never becomes cakey but at the same time has a really good coverage.

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder

This powder has to be in my top 10 as I use it everyday without fail to set my under eye. Its a powder that works for me and always sets my concealer well. I like that its a translucent powder so it will add absolutely no colour or change your foundation/concealer shade. I will sometimes lightly dust this over my face with a large powder brush to set my make up in place without becoming cakey although I mainly use this for under eye setting.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

I was so late onto the hype for this bronzer, I feel like anyone who's beauty/make-up obsessed has probably tried this and I can for sure see why. Bronzer was always a product I would wear however I never seemed to branch out and try new ones. I would always just stick to using one bronzer I knew I loved however last year i completely fell in love with bronzer and started to try out more and add several to my collection. Its safe to say I now have a fair few favourites that I couldn't be without however my Hoola Bronzer always sticks out as my absolute favourite. Its the perfect shade for me without being too dark or too light to show up and I have always found that it blends out so well and sits perfectly on my skin. I mainly just use this product for bronzing however I do love the versatility of this product as it is also cool enough to contour with. Its also completely matte which makes me love it even more.

Mary-Lou Manizer

This highlighter is a must have. So many people have raved on and on about this product and i've personally never come across any bad reviews on it. When I first saw this highlighter in person in Debenhams I was sold straight away and it has become a favourite since. Its a perfect champagne shade and applies effortlessly to the skin whist giving us that strong glow we all desire! This is in my top ten as it is my absolute go-to highlighter out of all the ones I have tried - I will always, always go back to Mary-Lou.

Anastasia Beverely Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

I think this palette is safely loved by many and its honestly my most favourite palette i've ever purchased. I use so many different eye shadow palettes as I love to swap and change up what I use in my collection but my Modern Renaissance is a go-to most often. Firstly Anastasia Beverely Hills eye shadows are incredible, the pigmentation is amazing and they honestly blend out so so well. These shadows are 100% worth the price as they are definitely high end quality so you get your moneys worth with this product. This palette also had me sold on the colours straight away. I love pinks and oranges on my eyes and use them regularly therefore I knew this palette would get a lot of use. It also has all the shades for a gorgeous everyday neutral eye so all in all a perfect palette.

Anastasia Beverely Hills Dipbrow Pomade

This brow product is super popular throughout beauty bloggers and youtubers and I completely get the hype. The main reason I love this pomade is because it makes my brow routine so much quicker so if i needed to be somewhere in a rush I know I can rely on this and it will be quick and easy to use. Before I had ever tried a brow pomade I was always unsure on this type of product as I thought I would struggle using it but I actually find it easier than powders and pencil products. It applies very well to the brows and glides on smoothly making shaping your brows a lot easier. It is also very easy to clean up if you make a mistake with a cotton bud or concealer. This product is definitely worth the price as it lasts SO long.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Now I am that girl that isn't great at liquid liner and it is probably what I struggle with most in make-up. This is by far the easiest liner to use that I have come across yet. I always repurchase this one now as if it is not in my collection I feel lost. The tip is flexible which makes it far easier to use in my opinion compared to a harder tip that drags too harshly across your lid. I also find the staying power of this liner to be very good, it will always last me a full days wear.

MAC Lipsticks

I added MAC Lipsticks as they are my favourite formula of lipstick and one I always continue to repurchase. They are moisturising and sit perfectly on the lips without being dry or uncomfortable (even the matte finishes). I love many lipsticks in my collection however if I'm in rush or unsure of what to go for I will always pick up a MAC lippy. My two absolute favourite shades that I will wear daily are Velvet Teddy and Whirl which are both brown toned nudes however Whirl is a true brown and Velvet Teddy has pink undertones. I also find the staying power of MAC lipsticks to be extremely good along with excellent pigmentation. If I could only have one brand of lipstick in my collection it would definitely be MAC as they also offer such a wide range of colour choice and finishes.

I'd love to know any products you can't be without!

Thanks for reading.

Barry M Lip Kits

I'm very very very excited about this new product from Barry M. I've wanted to try the famous Kylie Lip Kits for the longest time but I haven't yet got myself round to ordering from America and facing custom charges so when I saw Barry M were releasing three Lip Kits you can only imagine the excitement to try them.

Go To

Out of the three Lip Kits Go To is personally my favourite shade and is definitely something I would wear in my everyday routine. Its the perfect nude shade and when completely dried on my lips it reminded me very much of MAC's whirl (one of my all time faves).

Pose is a gorgeous pinky nude. Its definitely on the paler side however I personally still find this very wearable.

Originally when looking at these I wasn't going to purchase Runway because I'm always swayed towards nudes however I absolutely fell in love with this colour when I saw it and I don't believe I currently own many similar shades. The colour is described as a berry and is of a more pinky toned berry compared to a darker purple berry. I think this shade would be beautiful for summer.

L-R - Pose, Go To, Runway
I'm super impressed with these Lip kits and if I'm being honest I didn't expect them to be as good as they are. The consistency of them is quiet watery compared to some other liquid lipsticks I have previously tried. For example the NYX Lip Lingerie's are of a much thicker consistency. I would actually compare the formula of the Barry M ones to the Sleek Matte Me liquid lipsticks. The one thing I will say though is don't accidentally tip one upside down as half the tube unfortunately came running out of mine and all over my leg (a typical me kinda thing to do). As you will see from the swatches above the lip liners are a very good colour match to the lipsticks and when applying them they were very smooth and easy to use - they didn't drag my lips at all when lining them.

When applying both the lip liners and the liquid lipsticks to the lips they went on very evenly and highly pigmented. Once dried they were very comfortable and didn't dry my lips out - which I was super happy about. The three shades available are also all very wearable and I know I will get a lot of use out of each one. When wearing Go To for the day I found it to be incredibly long lasting whilst remaining very comfortable.

These Lip Kits retail at £6.99 which I think such a good price considering you get a liquid lipstick along with a lip liner and the quality of the product is very good. I also believe these are limited edition and have only just come out however if you don't see these at your local Superdrug I did see some single liquid lipsticks which I believe are permanent.

What are your favourite liquid lipsticks brand?

NYX Make Up Haul

Over the past couple of weeks I have accumulated a fair few products from NYX so I thought i'd put them all together in a haul. NYX is a favourite brand of mine from the drugstore so I love trying new products of theirs and I think they are really well priced. I think one of the main things I love about this brand is that they stock such a great variety of products and its now so much easier to get hold of them in the UK. One of the main things I knew I wanted to get was some glitters however I was really struggling to find some from the drugstore so NYX answered all my prayers here!

Glitters and Pigments £5.50
L-R - Blue, Violet, Rose, Crystal, Copper, Gold, Ice, Luna

As you might already be able to tell I'm just a little, okay maybe a lot... make up obsessed. I'm always wearing eyeshadow, big lashes and a bold lippy however I haven't branched out much and experimented with glitters or bold colours. I do love creating different eye looks but when I went to my collection I found I was lacking in glitters, pigments and all different colours however if you need a warm neutrals palette I'm ya gal! NYX stock a really good selection of glitters and pigments and at just £5.50 I had to purchase some... super excited to try these!

Ultimate Brights Palette £16

I saw they had this palette when I was browsing the stand and I thought this would be perfect for my collection as I knew I was on the hunt for some more colours and these are the type of bold colours I was looking for. I've not yet tried any eyeshadows from NYX so I'm looking forward to trying these and seeing what the pigmentations like and how easy they are to blend. Such a beautiful palette!

Soft Matte Lip Creams £5.50
L-R - Cairo, Cannes, Stockholm

I already own one other Soft Matte Lip Cream in a dark red (Copenhagen) and as I know I really like this formula which is very soft and creamy and doesn't dry your lips out I decided to purchase some more. I went for Cairo which is your perfect pure nude, Cannes which is a brown nude with pinky tones, and Stockholm which is a peachy/beige nude.

Butter gloss - Fortune Cookie £5

The Butter glosses are probably my favourite glosses from the drugstore. My absolute go-to lipgloss would definitely be the Butter gloss in the shade Creme Brûlée, its a beautiful light pinky nude shade. So when I saw they had a true nude shade I had to get it and when I swatched it its honestly the perfeeeeect nude for me. If you haven't tried the Butter glosses from NYX I would definitely recommend them, I'm always purchasing more and they never disappoint.

Glam Liner - Aqua Luxe - Nude £5.50

I've been using NYX glitter liners for a while now and I think they are really good. I recently created my first cut crease look using one their glitter liners and I was so impressed with how easy it was to use and it gave the perfect amount of glitter. When I saw they did one in a nude shade I had to have it!

Glitter Primer £8

I purchased this along with the glitters as I knew I would need something to stick them with on my eyelids. I was really happy with the price of this so I'm hoping it works well.

 Lip Liners £3

L-R - Peekaboo Neutral , Mauve, Prune

I needed some more lip liners in my collection so I thought these would be some good ones to try and they have such a great colour range. The best thing is they are just £3! I could have purchased so many more but I had to control myself slightly and I walked away with three. I decided to go for Peekaboo Neutral which is a nude shade with pink tones, Mauve which is exactly as the shade describes - the perfect pinky mauve, and Prune which is a gorgeous purple/plum shade.

Have you tried anything from NYX? What are your faves?

Valentines Date Night Make Up Look

So that time of year to get all romantic has come round again, I believe you should obviously show your loved one love all year round however I'm that typical gal that actually loves Valentines and going out but even chilling in my pyjamas and ordering pizza is ideal. I decided to create a 'Date Night' Valentines inspired look using two new palettes I had got. I purchased the Make Up Revolution - Fortune Favours The Brave palette that I was dying to try and I got the Love The Revolution Palette as a free gift for Valentines!

Fortune Favours The Brave Palette
Love The Revolution Palette
I used the two lighter matte shades that I have highlighted from the Fortune Favours The Brave Palette through my crease starting with the lightest first and then the second just below to create a gradient effect. I then used the darkest shade highlighted from the same palette to deepen my outer lid area.

Next I took the red shade from the Love The Revolution Palette and used this on my outer lid area and blended this out with the dark brown previously used. I then took the gorgeous pink shimmer from this palette with some of MAC's Fix Plus and packed this on my lid area making sure to blend this into the deepened outer area of the lid so there were no harsh lines. I added a touch of the white marbled shimmer shade from the first palette for an extra pop of sparkle and then used the highlighter from the second palette to highlight my inner corner.

I blended out the lightest matte shade used under my lash line and then smoked out the dark brown and red shade on the outer area. I was really impressed with both of these palettes and I found I had a lovely range of shades to choose from.

Using the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner I added a winged liner and then applied my favourite fluttery Demi Wispie lashes from Ardell. I then finished the eyes by lining my waterline using my Ciate Oliva Palermo eyeliner in the shade Fig and coating my lashes in my Maybelline Lash Sensation mascara.

For primer I used my trusty Benefit Porefessional along with some of my Sleek Barekissed Illuminator in the shade Monoco for a more dewy base. I then applied my favourite foundation of all time NARS Sheer Glow using a Beauty Blender, I'm loving using a Beauty Blender at the moment as it really blends your foundation into your skin nicely soaking up any excess product preventing your base looking cakey.

I then took my go to concealers Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Light along with Nar's Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla for some extra highlight. I set my under eye concealer with my Laura Mercier Translucent Powder and then set the rest of my face with MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium.

I bronzed up with the classic Benefit Hoola - This bronzer never lets me down and then added a pop of colour/shimmer to my cheeks using Make Up Geek's blush in Romance. To finish my base I highlighted with Make Up Revolution's Highlighter in Golden Lights. This was my first time trying this highlighter and its gorgeous - It's definitely more golden in colour but I personally love it and its very pigmented!

I've finally branched out and I'm using something different for my brows over my Anastasia Dipbrow! I used Benefit's Precisely My Brow and I found this really easy to use considering I usually struggle with pencils. I then set my brows using Benefit's Gimme Brow - Amazing product!

For my lips I simply filled them in with my lip liner from Primark in Desert Sand - I think this product was like a £1... bargain! I then topped this with my all time favourite NYX Buttergloss in Crème Brulee.

I hope you all enjoy your Valentines whatever you get up to!
