Collective Make Up Haul

Over the last month I have accumulated a handful of new products from various brands so I thought i'd put them together in a mini collective haul! Some of the stuff i have brought are key items I had been wanting to try for so long but some are the usual 'I don't really need this item, ok I definitely don't need this item but i'm definitely going to purchase it anyway!'

Is it just me or does anyone else get overly excited when looking back through all their goodies they've purchased? Hopefully i'm not the only one.... its just something about make up and beauty products... if theres one thing that can put me in good mood its for sure a new lippy or a pretty eyeshadow palette.

   Too Faced Hangover Primer

So this is the product I have been dyingggggg to try for so long! I was browsing on Debenham's make up section for primers and this one really stood out to me because it is described as your 'instant cure' for when long days of work have left you with a 'beauty hangover'.

The product claims that it can be used either alone to hydrate skin and leave you with a healthy, glowing finish or under your foundation/BB cream to help lock down your make up look for longer and give you that flawless finish.

Before purchasing this I decided to do some research on reviews and found several beauty bloggers/youtubers were raving about the Hangover Primer. Based on the reviews I saw and all of the benefits described it convinced me that was the primer for me and I didn't hesitate in spending £27 as in my opinion primers make the biggest difference to the finish of your make up. I can't wait to give this a go!

Sleek VIP Lipsticks

It was no surprise that when unintentionally stumbling across a Boots whilst out shopping at the weekend I of course found myself at the make up counters.

I have a tendency to always hover around the Sleek section. Sleek are for sure one of my favourite drugstore brands so i'm always excited to see what they have out! Their VIP lipstick range caught my eye straight away and two shades really stood out. After filling my arm with various swatches I couldn't bring myself to leave the shop without these two shades.... and I did try... promise! These shades were Show Off and Attitude

This lipstick formula claims to be packed with vitamin E, shea butter and coconut oil offering a moisturising yet semi-matte finish! This range is described as being intensely pigmented and I definitely agree from my swatches! These lipsticks are priced at £5.49 which I think is incredibly affordable for the quality of this product.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner - East End Snob

This purchase was from another one of my spontaneous trips to Boots. Lip liners are actually a pretty new product to me, I never really used to use them but lately I have been loving them and always find myself reaching for one! This shade somehow fell into my hands when picking up my usual purchase of the Rimmel Stay Matt power and I fell in love with the colour. This product is priced at £3.99

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Im honestly so excited that Debenhams now stock Kat Von D.... dreams really do come true sometimes ey! This particular product is another one I had been eyeing up for quiet sometime and when the brand came to the UK it was clearly a sign right? I love finding an easy to use eyeliner and from all the reviews of the Tattoo Liner this seemed to be exactly that! I prefer pen eyeliners because I think they are the easiest to work with and my current favourite is the Loreal Superliner Perfect Slim so i'm intrigued to see how this one compares! The tip of the liner is described to be super flexible, effortless and offer precise application and that sounds right up my street! This liner is a little more pricey than my trusty Loreal one priced at £16 so i'm hoping its as good as the reviews!

House Of Lashes

Eyelashes are a core part when creating any of my make up looks so i'm always on the hunt for the best ones. Lately I have been loving Backstage lashes and the Ardell Demi Wispies however I was looking for some fuller, thinkers ones. As soon as I found I could get my hands on House Of Lashes I instantly made an order. I purchased the styles; Iconic, Boudoir and Starlet. When these arrived they looked even more beautiful in person and just what I was searching for..... i'm just a little excited to try these out.

Too Faced Cat Eyes Palette

I was pretty impressed when I snapped up this little bargain in TK MAXX for £10! I have the Chocolate Bar Palette already from this brand and it is easily on one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes so I was pretty sure I would love this as the colours were gorgeous.

This palette intrigued me as I knew I didn't own one like it; this was because it contained three wet-and-dry shades that could be used for intense precision lining and the perfect wing tip as well creating stunning eyeshadow looks. The palette contains nine shades altogether which are a mixture of matte, shimmer and glitter in both warm and cool tones all of which can be combined to create the perfect, eye-catching cat eye look!

I'm superrrrr excited to start trying out all these products! Let me know your thoughts if you have tried any of them!

Charlotte Tilbury - Filmstar Bronze and Glow.

So it's safe to say I had been eyeing up this product for quite some time so finally caved and brought it..... and there are no regrets!

Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favourite beauty brands for sure. Her products are definitely high end but if you feel like treating yourself it is 100% worth the splurge. I think the packaging of her products is enough to win every girl over because lets face it pretty packaging is our weakness right? I would say this product is one of my favourites out of my make-up collection and one I will continue to reach for.

Firstly the packaging is gorgeous, completely luxurious and the kind to make you feel like a princess when applying your make up. It also comes with a decent sized mirror inside the compact which is always handy if you're out and about and wanted to touch your face up (if you're brave enough to take it out of your house).

It comes with two powders, one being a bronzer/sculpting powder and the other a highlighter. The sculpting powder is definitely on the warmer side however I found that when trying this for a subtle contour it definitely worked for me and blended out beautifully. I also use this powder to apply a light dusting around my face to bronze.

I am a massive highlighter addict, so any new highlighters excite me and this one did not disappoint at all. Its definitely a more golden highlight compared to other ones I've tried; such as Mary Loumanizer and Becca Moonstone, that are more on the champagne/pearly side. You can use this for a subtle yet stunning glow or you can build it up if you prefer a more intense highlight. The powder itself is very fine but gives off a beautiful glow with a good amount of shimmer.

If you're debating purchasing this product I would 100% recommend it. It is priced at £49 which is definitely on the more expensive side however I think it is worth the price and us girls need to treat ourselves every now again! (at least thats what I tell myself....... all the time... yes I have a make up problem)

I hope this post helps if you're looking to purchase this and I'd love to know your favourite high end must haves!
